London Core Review
Since its inception in 2011, the London Core Review course has gone from strength to strength in developing our Cardiothoracic Surgery course. The course was set up by a volunteering faculty of cardiothoracic surgeons who provide lectures at the annual four-day event. The lecturers donate their time and pay for their travel/accommodation expenses to take part in the event. The course has its origins from the US-based Core Review which has been running for over 25 years. Our teaching faculty comprises of US and UK based lecturers.
Course fees are kept at a bare minimum to allow the organisation to cover overheads and break-even. Our course receives delegates from all over the world. Awareness of the course has been spreading through various promotions and word of mouth. For those who cannot attend our course, we have developed a web app that contains our course videos and quizzes.
Without industry sponsorship, providing a course like this would not be possible financially. We are now seeking donations from individuals and other organisations to allow us to continue to make great strides and grow our course for the benefit of humanity as a whole.
