Over the years, the London Core Review course has been honoured to have renowned pioneering surgeons give lectures at our events. This year is no exception, Professor Tirone David, Professor Gebrine El-Khoury, Mr. Prakash Punjabi, John Doty, M.D. and Mr. Venkatachalam Chandrasekaran, will be part of day 4's special event at the Royal Society of Medicine. This is an excellent opportunity for delegates to talk directly with not only the guest speakers but faculty during the numerous tea, coffee and lunch breaks between the intensive lectures.

Book before 31st December 2018 and save on our early bird price tariff. Those who register early will qualify for early access to our web app.
2018 COURSE BOOKS: Our keynote lectures on day 1,2,3 will be available to four day delegates in 3 books (adult cardiac, congenital and thoracic). These books will be given to delegates when signing in on day 1 of the course. 1 day delegates are ineligible to receive the course books.
WEB APP ACCESS: Complementary web app access will be given to 4 day delegates (i.e. those attending all the dates (10th-13th May 2018) at some point after your payment for the course. 1 day delegates are not eligible to receive web app access.
FREE EVENT MEAL PROVISION: All four day and one day course delegates will receive complementary tea, coffee, and lunch during the event. For our Muslim delegates, all food is Halal.
ONE DAY DELEGATES: This is ideal for those who wish to attend the interactive cardiothoracic course on Sunday (13th May 2018) or the thoracic courses on day 3 of the course (12th May 2018).
NURSES AND NON-SURGEONS: This includes perfusionists, echo technicians and surgical care practitioners - please use the special enrolment option highlighted in orange.
INVITATION LETTER FOR VISA APPLICATION
While the London Core Review organisation does not directly get involved with Visa applications for delegates travelling from abroad, we are happy to produce a PDF letter inviting the person in question, quoting their passport number in the letter as a reference that the individual can use in the submission. We would ask you to email us directly using the contact form/chat feature for us to assist you. Kindly look into the requirements with your local British Embassy/High Commission for those countries where visa applications for travel to the UK are required so that everything can be timed well. While we highly recommend that everyone attends the course at the Royal Society of Medicine to get a fantastic learning experience, our web app is available for purchase for those who cannot attend our event.

The London Cardiothoracic Surgery Core Review Course is based upon the well reputed and longstanding Salt Lake City Core Review Course in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (Visit Website) established by Donald Doty, M.D. , Editor of Kirklin's Cardiac Surgery textbook and advanced by his son John Doty , - winner of 2011 Dwight C. McGoon Mentoring award from the National Thoracic Surgery Residents Association. Donald Doty and John Doty's books Cardiac Surgery - Operative Techniques and Textbook of Cardiothoracic Surgery are highly reputed globally.

The London Core Review course is fully accredited with the SCTS Education(Society For Cardiothoracic Surgery in Britain and Ireland). Delegates who attend the four day course will receive 34 hours CPD credit as well as an official certificate to show completion, whereas delegates who attend our Sunday course (1day) will receive 9 hours CPD credit..
