Personal Bio & Interests

Dr. Connors returns to his hometown of Ogden to join Ogden Cardiovascular Associates. He received his BA in Biology at the University of Utah. He went on to complete his medical school education and six years of General Surgery residency at the University of Utah as well. Dr. Connors then moved his family to Charlottesville, Virginia where he completed a two-year Cardiothoracic Fellowship at the University of Virginia. Dr. Connors then relocated to St. Louis, Missouri where he did some additional training in complex aortic surgery and subsequently joined the group in St. Louis for two years prior to taking this opportunity to return back to his home state of Utah. His focus is in all aspects of heart surgery, specifically aortic, endovascular and valvular heart disease. Dr. Connors also focuses on minimally invasive thoracic surgery, including minimally invasive lobectomies for lung cancer.\n\nDr. Connors is an avid sports fan. He enjoys almost all sports as both a spectator and participant. He and his wife are excited to bring their three children back to the mountains of Utah where they look forward to skiing, biking, golfing and playing tennis, as well as raising their children in a great family community.
